O.A.P. WEDNESDAYS!

We are aware that elderly people sometimes find it difficult to pay for vets' fees, should their pet require urgent or preventative treatments. Unfortunately there is no NHS for pets and so, unless your pet is insured, fees can mount up.

We would like to help as much as we can and so have set up a reduced cost open surgery, every Wednesday, from 11.30am and .2.00pm, at our Ibrox branch. If you are an OAP we will offer you a half price consultation with one of our vets, or 15% off the cost of your pet's annual vaccinations.

There is no need to book, just turn up between the times given above, to our surgery at 264 Paisley Road West. The cost of the discounted consultation is currently £13.92 but please remember that medicines may be required in addition and will be charged for.

PLEASE BRING ALONG PROOF OF ADDRESS AND OAP STATUS.

Heather goes on Dental Course

HEAD NURSE HEATHER GOES ON ADVANCED DENTAL COURSE

Our head nurse, Heather Kerr has been away on an advanced Nursing Dental Course, at the practice of the acclaimed veterinary dental specialist Norman Johnston (formerly President of the Veterinary Dental Association).

This intensive course has allowed Heather to forward her interest in veterinary dentistry. At Champion Vets we see a large number of dentistry cases and our nurses play an active role in assisting the vets with the work they do to improve the oral care of our patients.

Heather is also responsible for heading our Nurse Dental Clinics, offering cost-effective advice to owners about the dental care of their pets.
