This innovative new Glasgow veterinary practice CHAMPIONVET.com was established in August 2003 by veterinary surgeon, Stephen Champion. The surgery premises in Ibrox and Paisley were bought from an existing veterinary practice and indeed the Ibrox site has been used as a veterinary practice since the 1940's!
Both Glasgow and Paisley surgeries are in busy urban locations which are easily accessible and enjoy a large and loyal client base. We specialize in providing quality veterinary care with an emphasis on value for money. We understand that some of our clients are on low incomes but do not always qualify for PDSA (or other charity) support. We hope to fill this gap and provide low-cost opportunities for our clients' pets to receive veterinary attention when required and preventative treatments such as vaccinations, worming, neutering and flea treatments.

We are fortunate to have caring and experienced vets and nurses on our staff, and modern and sophisticated equipment at our disposal. We are thus able to provide the highest quality veterinary service for all our clients, together with a 24-hour emergency service, but always with an emphasis on value.

So why the .com in the name? Our website is a way of delivering low cost opportunities to our clients and potential clients as efficiently as possible. It is also an effective and fun way for us to talk to you all, and for you to reply! Our web presence is so important to us, that we felt it should be integral to our name. In addition we invite you to use our site freely to book appointments with our vets, nurses or groomers and to ask us questions about your animals or animal-related matters. We hope to stimulate, interest, inform and amuse you through the content of our site.
