RCVS accreditation is a voluntary quality assurance programme. To become accredited, practices must pass a rigorous inspection carried out by an experienced veterinary surgeon appointed by the RCVS
Areas covered include hygiene, healthy and safety, clinical competance, medicines safety and dispensing protocols, facilities and equipment, client communcation and staff training
An accredited practice is inspected every four years and Championvet.com Glasgow, Paisley and Grangemouth have been inspected and passed with flying colours. Championvet.com East Kilbride is a brand new practice and is currently awaiting inspection so that accreditation may be awarded.
