Champion Vets Go Bowling!

The staff at Championvet.com Ibrox and Paisley took a night away from the cut and thrust of veterinary practice for an intensely-fought night of ten-pin bowling, courtesy of Suzie from Novartis Animal Health. After stocking up on calories with a cracking curry, it was off to the alley for some real surprises! Vet student Amy kept us all right with technique, being a seasoned bowl-chick back in the States, whilst her compatriate Laura recovered from a somewhat "wonky" start to bowl some decent strikes. Steven Baker started extremely strongly until vindaloo and Cobra took it's toll and his eye off the skittles.

There were some dark horses however, namely our Paisley vet Kerry and Ibrox nurse Lisa, who demonstrated raw, undiscovered talent, if not with distinctly unusual style!
The final scores:
The Winners: Kerry, June and Suzie with 558
Runners up: Steven, Jemma and Lisa with 534
Quack Quack ooops: Stephen, Amy and Laura with 510
